Please enter your details in the lost property service web form in order to compare with the items found in the public transport lost property system in Switzerland.
We will only inform you in the event of a successful search. If we do not match your details to our lost property, there is unfortunately little chance that your item has been handed over.
If your item is found, we will inform you where and from when you can collect it. Items cannot be collected on the same day. Depending on the station, you can collect the item in 1 – 3 days. The process cannot be accelerated. Please note the opening hours of the specific train stations.
- With a GA Travelcard = CHF 5.00 per item
- With a Half Fare Travelcard = CHF 10.00 per item
- With a personal Annual Point-to-Point Travelcard or Regional Travelcard = CHF 10.00 per item
- Without one of the specified Travelcards = CHF 20.00 per item
- Change of collection station after notification = CHF 10.00 per item

If you have lost the item during a Postbus journey and notice this within 30 minutes of getting off the bus, you can send an express search request by phone to +41 (0) 848 818 818.
Any items found that are not claimed will be handed over to fundsachenverkauf.ch GmbH and sold to the public after the statutory retention period. Information about the sale of lost property and upcoming auctions can be found at www.fundsachenverkauf.ch.
If you find an item on a Postbus, a train or at a train station, you can drop it off at a staffed SBB counter. You can find an overview of the counter opening hours at SBB railway stations at Bahnhof | SBB.

For mobile phones and keys, delivery to an address in Switzerland is available. The return fee, including shipping costs, is always collected in advance.
- Mailing of the lost item in Switzerland = CHF 25.00 per item (including return fee)
- Mailing of the lost item abroad = CHF 50.00 per item (including return fee) + shipping costs
Passports may not be sent by post, and will be delivered to the relevant embassy in Switzerland. For deliveries abroad, the provisions of the transporter (FedEx) apply. In addition to the expenses, shipping costs are always collected in advance.
