PubliCar Uzwil covers the coloured area in the municipalities of Uzwil, Oberuzwil and Oberbüren with door-to-door service.

Employees of Uzwiler Bühler AG are being encouraged through various mobility options to make increasing use of public transport when going to and from work in an effort to reduce emissions from commuter and business travel. PubliCar is a part of this initiative. Early in the morning till 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. only employees of Bühler AG are transported. During service hours, residents of the region that is covered by PubliCar have access to door-to-door service by PubliCar Uzwil.
Booking
All rides must be booked. Short-notice bookings are also possible. If you have a time-sensitive appointment (e.g. a doctor's appointment or train connection), we recommend you book early. You can do this round the clock on the PubliCar app or onlineTarget not accessible.
Should you no longer need a ride you booked, please cancel it as fast as possible.
Wheelchair transport
PubliCar Uzwil does not carry out wheelchair transport.
Bicycle transport
PubliCar Uzwil does not carry out bicycle transport.
Small groups
A maximum of eight people at a time can be booked via the app or websiteTarget not accessible .
PubliCar is not a taxi
As is common in public transport, rides are shared if at all possible. That means additional passengers may get on during the ride if they are going in the same direction.
Fare
Buy a zone ticket from the Ostwind fare networkTarget not accessible for your PubliCar journey (e.g. a single ticket, a multiple-trip ticket or a 1-day travelpass). We accept GA travelcards, half-fare travel cards as well as junior and children's tickets. The usual public transport fare regulations apply to dogs .
You can buy tickets online on the SBB Mobile App, in the SBB Shop, at ticket machines, in the SBB Railcenter Uzwil or with the driver. We recommend that Fairtiq and EasyRide customers purchase their tickets using one of the options listed above. Drivers can only accept payments with a bank card or with TWINT.
