A panoramic hike through the Alpine meadows of Anzère
For the more intrepid amongst you, start your hike at the ski lift square. From here, it’s a fairly steep 3 km climb in the heart of the forest until you reach La Brune. You can also reach here by ski lift by getting off at the middle station.
The next 7 kilometres go through various Alpine meadows in the region, where you may cross paths with herds of cattle and flocks of sheep. In the first meadow, the Tsalan d'Arbaz, there is a restaurant serving various dishes and cold drinks. Next, the hike takes you to the Duez Alpine meadow, and then the Serin meadow.
The circular hike comes to an end with a gentle descent along the Bisse de Sion trail, which boasts a panoramic view over the Valais peaks.
You can also tackle this hike competitively during the famous race that attracts over 1,000 runners a year.
For a leisurely descent back to the lowlands, PostBus will pick you up from the ski lift square in Anzère.
