Our timetable for the conversion to alternative drive systems
100, 1,000, all

There are two factors setting the pace for our timetable for converting the PostBus fleet to alternative drive systems:
- In regional passenger transport and local transport, PostBus works with the Confederation, cantons and municipalities, which order and co-finance a large portion of the services offered. Conversion of the fleet is therefore always undertaken in close cooperation with the purchasers.
- As a rule, Postbuses remain in service for a period of 12 years.
For this reason, our plan is as follows: the first 100 vehicles with alternative drive systems are expected to be in service by the end of 2024, with 1,000 fossil-free Postbuses by 2030. PostBus aims for its entire current fleet of 2,300 vehicles to be climate-friendly by 2040 at the latest.
