Dent de Vaulion Bike route

From Vallorbe, the tour takes you through typical forest meadows of the Jura to the village of Romainmôtier, famous for its abbey church. The bike tour then continues through the green Nozon valley, around the Dent de Vaulion mountain and back to Vallorbe.

The tour is ideal for advanced mountain bikers with experience who want to discover the Jura mountains off the beaten track. Discover an idyllic region with picturesque towns nestled amidst unspoilt nature.

Depending on the season, nature also changes, as you drive through meadows full of primroses, through coniferous forests that smell of magnificent resin, and across grass pastures, some of which still contain World War II hump lines. The shape of these hump lines, which served as armour blocks, is reminiscent of the Toblerone brand’s chocolate.
