On your way home, make sure you stop at Tremona to find out what life was like in a mediaeval village.
Tremona-Castello Archaeological Park
Just a few minutes’ walk from the stop “Tremona, Gurnaga”, you will find the Tremona-Castello Archaeological Park.
This park was created from the ruins of the buildings uncovered on the site. Through a route brought to life by explanatory panels, the park offers a detailed reconstruction of the history and daily life of this rural mediaeval village.
Thanks to 3D glasses, which can be rented from the information point at the park entrance, you can enter and explore the buildings in the settlement. Ten aspects of everyday life are reconstructed, each of which represents an activity within the village, such as life at home and in the blacksmith’s workshop.
On this route, you will also enjoy the three-tone horn, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
