Driving lessons and prices
The driving students are trained at the highest level. We are making the best possible preparations for the additional theory test and the practical driving test for category D at the driver and vehicle licensing office.
What you already have to offer:

Complete the offer for driving training
If applicable: send proof of category C practical driving experience (500 hours in the last 220 working days). Your details will be sent to the relevant driving instructor.

Register for driving training
You’ll receive the requested offer by e-mail. If you agree with the conditions, please return the offer. Returning the offer is deemed to be a binding application for training.

Provisional licence
Provided that no medical objections are raised by the doctor, you’ll receive your provisional licence from the driver and vehicle licensing office. This is valid for 24 months. You can then begin the driving training.

Contact by PostBus driving instructor
The PostBus driving instructor will contact you to arrange the first appointment.

Theory test
As soon as you have enough knowledge, you can register for the examination. You can prepare for the theory test with the driving instructor, or you can do self-study

Driving test
As soon as you have enough practical driving experience and the driving instructor has prepared you sufficiently, they will register you for the practical test.

CZV examination
After passing the driver’s test, you can register for the CZV examination yourself. Your driving instructor will tell you whether you need it. At the same time, you can also attend the CZV preparation courseTarget not accessible at the driving school.

There is no minimum number of lessons required by law. At PostBus, the requirement is 12 lessons, incl. the examination preparation and examination.
Additional practical driving lessons are charged accordingly (1 lesson at CHF 195) and theoretical lessons (1 lesson at CHF 55).
Definition of practical driving experience: 500 hours in the last 220 driving days, i.e. it must be proven that you have regularly driven category C vehicles for at least two years.
Additional theory exam
You’ll be optimally prepared for the additional theory test in the theory lessons at the driving school. You can obtain learning materials from us at the driving school, in the App Store or in a bookshop.
The additional theory exam is valid for category D for two years (40 questions, maximum 4 errors).

Payment
The driving school services (theory and practical driving lessons as well as teaching materials) are invoiced monthly. The payment deadline is 30 days.
